Accord is seeking a mission-driven Financial Management Services coordinator (FMSC) to serve as the primary point of contact for families in their caseload, supporting them with administrative tasks related to participant employer obligations and budget management.  The FMSC will work with a diverse team to ensure quality services are delivered in a timely manner.   

This is a hybrid role (minimum two days in office per week) located in Midway St. Paul, MN. The FMSC may be expected to travel within the community to meet supported persons.

Requirements

The FMSC will concentrate on these areas.

Client Experience: 

  • Respond to and resolve issues efficiently and effectively; 
  • Provide program education and assistance to the Persons Supported within caseload; 
  • Communicate regularly with all stakeholders. 

Eligibility:

  • Onboard and enroll new participants, including setup in FMS Software and submission of employee UMPI applications;
  • Coordinate annual renewals, submitting reassessment referral for existing recipients; 
  • Recruit and market program. 

Compliance/Budget Management: 

  • Manage Service Agreements consist with approved budgets and coordinate revisions with external care team;
  • Audit, reconcile, and monitor budget limits and submit timely spending reports; 
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payments; 
  • Document and communicate budget changes;
  • Ensure compliance with DHS and waiver regulations; 
  • Track service delivery and documentation within FMS Software.

Credentials/Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field.  Associate’s degree with relevant experience may be substituted for degree. 
  • One or more years of experience processing payroll or conducting budget reconciliation. 
  • Two or more years or experience working with individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite. 
  • Valid Driver’s license with reliable transportation. 
  • Able to pass NetStudy 2.0 Background Study

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • One or more years of experience with FMS and self-directed services. 
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Somali, or Hmong. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • Self-motivation with openness to learning new systems and processes. 
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and organize details of position.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to adapt to varied learning styles, with attention to strong customer service. 
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in maintaining professionalism and discretion with sensitive information.   

Benefits

Compensation Range: $47,000-$52,000, non-exempt, depending on qualifications
