Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant / Primary Care

A community-focused healthcare organization in Southern Washington, near Carson, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its primary care team.

This permanent position offers a 4-day workweek, 32 patient-contact hours, and the opportunity to build and manage your own panel of family medicine patients. You will also provide walk-in and acute care during designated clinic times while working alongside an experienced, collaborative clinical team.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Provide comprehensive family medicine services to an established patient panel.
• Evaluate and manage acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and preventive health needs.
• See walk-in and same-day patients during designated clinic hours.
• Conduct physical examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic testing.
• Prescribe medications and coordinate specialty referrals when appropriate.
• Educate patients on prevention, wellness, medications, and chronic disease management.
• Collaborate with experienced providers, clinical staff, and support teams.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the EMR.
• Contribute ideas and clinical insight to organizational discussions and improvement initiatives.

Schedule

• Full-time, permanent position
• 4 days per week
• 32 patient-contact hours
• Outpatient primary care
• Schedule divided between two clinics within the surrounding region

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Washington Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• DEA registration in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of professional NP or PA experience
• Experience in family medicine, primary care, urgent care, or a related field
• Comfortable managing both scheduled primary care and acute visits
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Epic EMR experience
• Interest in clinical leadership and organizational decision-making
• Community health or underserved-care experience

Compensation and Benefits

• $125,000 to $130,000 base salary
