Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Cook to join our healthcare team.Your primary role is to prepare food, following planned menus and standardized recipes.You willcoordinate the activities with other cooks and cafeteria workers.You would beresponsible for coordinating and requisitioning production supplies. 

In this role you will: 

• Assistin meal planning 

• Prepare foods to meetstandards 

• Follow proper food handling techniques 

• Follows recipes and production instructions 

• Meets all time deadlines and assures that foods arenot prepared too far in advance 

• Assures taste tests are done with each meal and follows upwithany problems 

• Communicates to management 

• Actively participates and contributes throughout the day 

What qualifications you will need:

• High School or equivalency required 

• 1 year of applicable experience preferred
