Iowa Athletic Club, a sports bar and made-from-scratch restaurant located in the Iowa River Landing next to Xtream Arena, is looking for a Front of House Manager to join our team.
We're looking for an experienced, professional leader who is passionate about hospitality, developing people, and creating a great guest experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who knows how to lead a busy front-of-house operation, build a strong team, and bring positive energy to every shift.
Compensation: $53,000 - $56,000 per year, based on experience.
Schedule: This is a full-time exempt position, shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Full-time Benefits: Available for all full-time employees who work 30 hours per week or more on average.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the FOH team and help create a great shift for both guests and employees
- Train and onboard new FOH team members, making sure they feel prepared and confident in their roles
- Coach and develop hosts, servers, and bartenders through hands-on feedback and support
- Lead pre-shift meetings, menu tastings, and ongoing training to keep the team sharp and consistent
- Stay active on the floor, jumping in to host, serve, bartend, or expo when the team needs help
- Keep the restaurant clean, organized, safe, and ready for guests
- Connect with guests, handle concerns, and help create memorable experiences
- Partner with the GM and AGM on hiring, staffing, training, and the day-to-day needs of the restaurant
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of FOH management or supervisory experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- ServSafe certification required within 30 days of hire
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
