    Job Description

    seeking an experienced Folder Gluer Manager to oversee folder gluer operations within our fast-paced folding carton and packaging production environment. This leadership role is responsible for managing production personnel, maximizing equipment efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring customer deadlines are consistently met.

    The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on folder gluer experience, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of packaging production workflows and finishing operations.

    Responsibilities
    Supervise and lead folder gluer operations across multiple shifts and production schedules
    Manage setup, operation, troubleshooting, and overall performance of folder gluer equipment
    Ensure production goals, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are achieved
    Train, mentor, and develop folder gluer operators and production staff
    Coordinate workflow with production management, die cutting, finishing, and shipping departments
    Monitor machine efficiencies, waste levels, downtime, and labor utilization
    Assist with scheduling and production planning to maximize throughput and profitability
    Troubleshoot production and equipment issues while implementing corrective actions
    Maintain strong quality control standards throughout all production runs
    Enforce company safety procedures and maintain a clean production environment
    Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
    Qualifications
    5+ years of folder gluer experience within folding carton or packaging manufacturing environments
    Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
    Strong knowledge of folding carton production and finishing workflows
    Experience operating and managing equipment such as Bobst, Signature, Omega, Vega, or similar folder gluers preferred
    Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
    Ability to manage production teams in a deadline-driven environment
    Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
    Commitment to quality, safety, and operational efficiency
    Preferred Experience

    Candidates with experience in the following areas are highly preferred:

    Folding carton packaging production
    Die cutting and finishing operations
    Packaging quality systems and production metrics
    Lean manufacturing or process improvement initiatives
    Multi-line folder gluer environments

    $70,000 - $85,000 a year
