FOLDER/ GLUER OPERATORDirect HireSheboygan, WI
Shift/Hours: 3rd Shift (10pm-6am)Wage: $25-$26/hr. (plus $1.50 shift premium) RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Set up, operate, and adjust folder/gluer machines to meet production schedules and quality standards 
  • Perform make-ready, changeovers, and machine startups for various carton specifications 
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and make mechanical adjustments to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency 
  • Inspect finished cartons for glue integrity, folding accuracy, and overall customer specification compliance 
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic mechanical repairs on equipment 
  • Maintain accurate production, downtime, and quality records throughout each shift 
  • Communicate with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams to quickly resolve production issues 
  • Follow all safety procedures, GMP standards, and company operating procedures
 QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in the folding carton industry, specifically working with folding/gluing machines (Bobst experience preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with equipment such as:
    1. Domino 110
    2. Alpina with Easy Feeder and Cartonpack II
    3. Masterfold with Easy Feeder, Batch Inverter, and Cartonpack II
    4. HHS gluing systems
    5. Heiber Schroeder window machines
  • Strong understanding of machine setup, troubleshooting, and adjustments 
  While the above qualifications are highly preferred, we are also open to candidates who are mechanically inclined within a manufacturing setting. This could include individuals who may not have direct experience in the exact role but demonstrate strong hands-on abilities, such as:
  • Comfort working with tools, equipment, or machinery
  • Ability to learn mechanical processes and systems quickly
  • Experience in roles involving equipment maintenance, assembly, or technical problem-solving
  • A general aptitude for understanding how machines operate and identifying issues
  Candidates will be required to pass a mechanical aptitude test during the interview process – a paper test and a hands-on test.
