We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee multiple restaurant outlets and the daily operations of food and beverage operations at the Lightwell Hotel + Spa in Hood River, OR. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for operating restaurants, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of restaurant management, as well as the ability to build diverse teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the restaurant, including people, inventory, and customer service
- Hire, train, and schedule team members to ensure optimal performance
- Create and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
- Understand waste control measures and systems to keep costs under control
- Respond to guest questions and feedback
- Collaborate with Hotel and Spa managers to ensure that we consistently meet guest expectations
- Cross-train team across outlets and within the hotel for scheduling efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
Qualifications:
- 2 - 5 Years of previous experience in restaurant management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- OLCC License and Food Handlers
