Position Overview
Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin is seeking an energetic and service-focused Food & Beverage Supervisor to support daily restaurant, bar, and banquet operations. This leader will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining service standards, supporting team development, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the restaurant, bar, lounge, and/or banquet venues.
- Lead, motivate, and support Food & Beverage team members to achieve service excellence.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, friendly, and professional service at all times.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, training, and onboarding of team members.
- Monitor service standards and ensure compliance with Hyatt brand expectations.
- Handle guest concerns and service recovery efforts in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily operational goals.
- Support inventory management, ordering, receiving, and cost-control initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Monitor cash handling procedures and point-of-sale system accuracy.
- Collaborate with culinary and hotel departments to execute special events and promotions.
- Assist management in achieving departmental financial and guest satisfaction goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout all Food & Beverage outlets.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of food and beverage leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant and bar operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred
- Previous hotel Food & Beverage experience.
- Hyatt experience preferred.
- TABC Certification.
- Food Handler Certification.
- Experience with POS systems and inventory management platforms.
