The Food & Beverage Attendant prepares and serves food, handles guest orders, maintains a clean concession area, and follows all safety and sanitation standards. This role supports fast, friendly service during busy campground hours. Candidate must be available to work though Mid October.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Service
Prepare menu items such as snacks, grilled foods, ice cream, and beverages.
Follow portion sizes, recipes, and food safety procedures.
Serve guests quickly and accurately during peak times.
Restock food, drinks, condiments, and supplies throughout the shift.
Guest Service
Greet guests and take orders with a friendly attitude.
Answer basic questions about menu items and wait times.
Handle guest concerns professionally and notify a supervisor when needed.
Cash Handling & POS
Operate the pointofsale system accurately.
Process cash, card, and mobile payments.
Follow cashout procedures and maintain a balanced drawer.
Sanitation & Safety
Maintain a clean concession area, including counters, equipment, and floors.
Wash dishes, utensils, and food prep tools.
Follow all food handling, allergen, and temperaturecontrol guidelines.
Monitor equipment and report issues immediately.
General Operations
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Keep inventory organized and report low stock.
Support special events or hightraffic weekends as needed.
Qualifications
Food service experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Able to stand for long periods and lift 20-30 lbs.
Reliable, punctual, and teamoriented.
Must meet age requirements for operating equipment or handling certain food items (varies by state).
Work Environment
Indoor concession area with high guest traffic.
Weekend, evening, and holiday shifts are required during peak season.
