The Food & Beverage Expo Specialist serves as the final and most critical quality checkpoint between the kitchen and the guest experience. This role is responsible for ensuring every dish that leaves the kitchen pass meets the highest standards of presentation, accuracy, timing, and food safety. The Food & Beverage Expo Specialist acts as the bridge between back-of-house execution and front-of-house excellence - orchestrating seamless, anticipatory service that elevates the overall dining experience.
Verify each item against system order
Ensure add-ons and presentation standards are correct
Reject and escalate substandard plates
Maintain sanitation standards to avoid cross contamination
Coordinate order assembly and communicate delays
Call out order numbers and coordinate handoffs
2+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen (expo, line cook, or similar role), or equivalent
Strong understanding of food safety standards, kitchen workflow, and basic culinary terminology
Rapid decision-making, clear communication, and comfort using kitchen display systems or service boards
Enjoys working with guests; basic knowledge of coffee and beverage services
Proactive, calm under pressure, team-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs., and move efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts

Expected Compensation
$15.16 - $22.74/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
