THE OPPORTUNITY
The Marriott Long Island is seeking a strong, hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to help lead restaurant, banquet, and event operations within a high-volume full-service Marriott environment.
Located adjacent to Nassau Coliseum and supporting significant banquet, sports, entertainment, airline, and group business, this role is ideal for an operational leader who thrives in fast-paced hospitality environments and enjoys leading large-volume service operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead daily food & beverage operations across restaurant, banquet, and event service
Oversee banquet execution for high-volume events and group business
Drive service consistency and guest satisfaction
Coach, develop, and hold teams accountable
Support labor management and operational cost control
Partner with culinary, operations, and hotel leadership teams
Maintain Marriott brand standards and operational excellence
Help drive a culture of urgency, professionalism, and teamwork
IDEAL BACKGROUND
Full-service hotel F&B leadership experience strongly preferred
Banquet and high-volume event experience required
Experience leading large teams in fast-paced hospitality environments
Strong floor presence and operational leadership ability
Ability to manage both guest experience and labor performance
Marriott experience preferred
Union experience a plus
