Summary:
Performs various hospital food services duties (e.g., prepares food, assembles, delivers, and retrieves patient trays, washes dishes; sets up, operates cash register and serves customers) under minimal supervision. Answers phones and greets and assists patient in selection of regular and modified diets. Provides the highest quality of service and respect to others at all times.
Proven ability to read and write English, follow written and oral instructions, and perform basic mathematical functions. Must possess knowledge of and be in compliance with local, state, and federal food handling regulations (i.e., HAACP). Demonstrates a helpful and pleasant behavior when communicating with visitors, hospital personnel, physicians and co-workers. Ability to answer telephones and use computer and related office equipment. Ability to operate a cash register. Ability to prepare and assemble food.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
