    About the Role

    Step onto the production floor as the right hand to the Line Supervisor. As the Food Packaging Line Operations Lead, you coordinate the work of production teammates to keep food packaging running efficiently, safely, and on schedule.

    A Day in the Life

    • Kick off the shift by reviewing the production schedule, aligning staffing, and clarifying targets and quality standards.
    • Set up and operate packaging equipment, verify settings, and prepare workstations for a clean, compliant start.
    • Coach team members in best practices and company procedures, reinforcing strong performance and safe habits.
    • Track materials in inventory management software to keep the line supplied and minimize downtime.
    • When equipment glitches occur, coordinate rework, adjust priorities, and keep product moving.
    • Record production and quality data, documenting checks and outcomes for traceability and compliance.
    • Continuously observe the process, enter updates, and maintain accurate databases to inform decisions.
    • Lead by example in cleaning and sterilizing equipment and processing areas to meet food safety standards.
    • Ensure every step meets safety, quality, and regulatory expectations.

    What You’ll Lead

    • Training and coaching of production workers to uphold company standards
    • Daily schedule execution to hit deadlines and production goals
    • Equipment setup, operation, and tending for food product packaging
    • Rework coordination when malfunctions impact output
    • Sanitation and sterilization of equipment and processing spaces
    • Inventory software upkeep for precise material tracking
    • Production data capture during quality checks
    • Information gathering via observation, data entry, and database management
    • Compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

    What You Bring

    • High School diploma or equivalent experience
    • Background leading operations teams in a manufacturing plant
    • Clear, confident communication and effective leadership
    • Professional demeanor and a genuine passion for guiding others
    • Experience in food service or manufacturing is a plus
