Food Prep Team Member Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of cold menu items, including salads, wraps, fruit cups, parfaits, and catering trays, while maintaining efficiency and safety around kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and prep area, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness at all times.
  • Stay updated on new products introduced by Chick-fil-A and incorporate them into your food preparation.
  • Wash and put away kitchen dishes to maintain a well-organized workspace.
  • Complete assigned tasks to ensure consistency in product quality and guest experience, aligning with our brand, culture, and commitment to excellence.
  • Communicate effectively with fellow team members and leaders, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Stand for periods of up to 3.5 hours during your shift, demonstrating stamina and dedication to your responsibilities.
  • Possess basic math and measurement skills to accurately portion ingredients.
  • Maintain a sanitary and safe restaurant environment by performing tasks such as mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, and caring for equipment.
  • Comply with portion sizes, quality standards, and health inspection standards, ensuring adherence to EcoLab guidelines.
  • Assemble, clean, maintain, and operate kitchen equipment
  • Obtain a Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire to meet food safety requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have a source of reliable transportation
  • Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low
  • Works in hot, noisy and fast paced environment
  • Consistent and reliable
  • Loves serving and helping others
  • Able to multi-task
  • Works well independently and in a team environment
  • Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
  • Have the ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
