Food Prep Team Member Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of cold menu items, including salads, wraps, fruit cups, parfaits, and catering trays, while maintaining efficiency and safety around kitchen equipment.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and prep area, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness at all times.
- Stay updated on new products introduced by Chick-fil-A and incorporate them into your food preparation.
- Wash and put away kitchen dishes to maintain a well-organized workspace.
- Complete assigned tasks to ensure consistency in product quality and guest experience, aligning with our brand, culture, and commitment to excellence.
- Communicate effectively with fellow team members and leaders, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Stand for periods of up to 3.5 hours during your shift, demonstrating stamina and dedication to your responsibilities.
- Possess basic math and measurement skills to accurately portion ingredients.
- Maintain a sanitary and safe restaurant environment by performing tasks such as mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, and caring for equipment.
- Comply with portion sizes, quality standards, and health inspection standards, ensuring adherence to EcoLab guidelines.
- Assemble, clean, maintain, and operate kitchen equipment
- Obtain a Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire to meet food safety requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a source of reliable transportation
- Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low
- Works in hot, noisy and fast paced environment
- Consistent and reliable
