Empire Workforce Solutions is hiring Food Manufacturing Employees to start as soon as possible. As a Food Processing Line Technician, you will work under direct supervision to handle ingredients and operate equipment that transforms raw materials into packaged goods.
What a typical shift looks like
- Rotate through stations to move, weigh, form, mix, and package products.
- Operate production line machinery and assemble goods on the line.
- Keep a close eye on the process, perform basic tests, and complete quality checks.
- Log ingredient usage and record codes on paper with accuracy.
- Report equipment issues to maintenance promptly.
- Clean and maintain your workstation and machinery to sanitation standards.
Work environment and physical demands
- Loud, fast-paced production floor.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Regular transitions in and out of a freezer warehouse with extreme temperature changes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience on a production line or in food manufacturing is a plus.
Compensation
- 1st: $17.75 p/h
- 2nd: $18.50 p/h
- 3rd: $20.00 p/h
- Pay Range $17.50-$20.00
