Lead the Line. Elevate the Standard.

You’re the kind of production leader who can scan a plant floor and instantly see what needs to happen next. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll run day-to-day operations with minimal oversight, making timely decisions, organizing people and schedules, and communicating clearly in a multilingual environment.

A day in this role

Your shift begins with a quick huddle: you align the schedule, assign people to lines, and confirm material availability. As production gets underway, you track throughput, watch quality metrics, and keep every process on-time. When a machine hints at trouble, you coordinate maintenance to prevent downtime. You spot training needs and coach team members. You walk the floor to audit GMPs, document your findings, and reinforce personal hygiene and HACCP expectations. Throughout the day, you look for efficiency gains, keep safety front and center, and ensure every order meets customer specs and fulfillment goals.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Own the daily production schedule and plant activities to meet timelines and targets.
  • Monitor product quality and line performance, taking action when standards drift.
  • Build schedules and allocate labor to balance workload and projects.
  • Guide, coach, and develop the team; recommend and deliver training.
  • Drive process improvements to boost operational efficiency.
  • Champion a safe workplace; help develop and participate in safety programs.
  • Verify products meet customer standards while achieving fulfillment goals.
  • Coordinate machine maintenance and repairs to minimize delays.
  • Assist with employee performance reviews and documentation.
  • Enforce food safety, employee safety, and quality policies; ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), personal hygiene standards, and HACCP programs.
  • Conduct line and GMP audits with complete documentation.
  • Pitch in on other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
  • 2–5 years leading teams in a production setting; food manufacturing experience favored. Ingredient blending exposure is a plus.
  • Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Fluent communication in English; Spanish bilingual abilities are a plus and helpful on multilingual teams.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and time-management; self-directed with sound judgment.
  • Comfort with ERP environments and MS Word, Excel, Outlook (ADP experience is a plus).
