We are currently hiring for an experienced Mixer for a premier Bakery located in the Hayward, CA area.
Job Title: Mixer
Pay Rate: $20.25 per hour
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
2pm to 10:30pm
MUST be available to work OT and weekends and be flexible with start and end times. Mixers may work up to 4 hours of overtime per day during periods of increased production.
Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
Works at a set rate and creates mixes and batter/dough batches based on production needs while operating industrial mixing machinery.
Report immediately any machinery issues.
Must fill and record daily production requirements sheet.
Follows companys GMP and other food safety and quality requirements.
Pulls and checks ingredients to ensure that these are correct.
Keeps work area clean and organized.
Job Requirements:
Must be able to lift 55 pounds
Must be able to work entire shift on feet, and must be able to push/pull large batches of batter throughout the day.
Must be able to speak, read and write in basic English, perform math calculations and use a computer.
Able to work in a hot or cold, and/or noisy environment.
