Food Production Associate Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Production Associate to support the accurate and efficient preparation of ingredients for food production. This role requires a strong focus on food safety, quality, accuracy, cleanliness, and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Break down, weigh, measure, and label bulk ingredients according to recipes and SOPs.
  
• Accurately document lot numbers, weights, and labels to maintain inventory accuracy.
  
• Follow all food safety, GMP, allergen control, and HACCP procedures as applicable.
  
• Minimize waste and prevent foreign material contamination during ingredient preparation.
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using Clean-as-You-Go practices.
  
• Safely operate pallet jacks, production equipment, and knives as required.
  
• Complete required production and food safety documentation accurately.
  
• Meet individual production and performance goals (KPIs).
  
• Participate in required training and assist with training new team members when needed.
  
• Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership.
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  
• Basic math, computer, communication, and organizational skills.
  
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  
• Previous food production experience is a plus, but not required.
  

Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  
• Work in cold, wet, and/or humid conditions, including areas around 38°F or below.
  
• Exposure to moving equipment and moderate noise.
