Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking dependable and hardworking Food Production Workers to join a busy meat production operation in the Owasso area. This position supports daily production by inspecting meat products, operating processing equipment, packaging finished products, and maintaining established quality and sanitation standards.
The ideal candidate is reliable, comfortable performing physically demanding work, and able to maintain a consistent pace in a cold, fast-moving food production environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous food production, manufacturing, packaging, or general production experience preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Comfortable working in cold and odorous conditions
Ability to perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift
Strong attention to product quality and safety
Ability to follow production, sanitation, and safety procedures
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work effectively as part of a production team
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Inspect meat products to ensure established quality standards are met
Operate needle processing equipment safely and efficiently
Package and box finished products for shipment
Monitor products throughout the production process for quality concerns
Maintain consistent production pace and accuracy
Handle and move products throughout the work area as required
Maintain clean and organized production areas
Follow all company safety, sanitation, and food production procedures
Communicate production or quality concerns to supervisors
Assist with additional production and packaging duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous meat processing or food production experience
Manufacturing or production experience
Packaging and boxing experience
Experience working in refrigerated or cold production environments
Familiarity with food safety and sanitation procedures
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and handle 2070 lbs throughout the workday
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and repetitive physical movement
Comfortable performing physically demanding work for extended periods
Ability to maintain production pace while working in cold conditions
