Food Quality Assurance Technician

Our client, a leading food manufacturing organization, is seeking a Food Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Food Quality Assurance Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting the Supply Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Food Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Commerce, CA

Pay Range: $22hr-$23.89hr

Shift: 5pm - 1:30am Wednesday - Sunday

What's the Job?

• Sampling, testing, plating, reading, and recording product test results accurately.
• Maintaining detailed daily records and documentation.
• Performing data entry and tracking quality metrics.
• Following QC Hold Procedures for products that are out of specification.
• Assisting in equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

What's Needed?

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, or related field, or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years in a similar role).
• Knowledge of microbiological, chemical, physical, and organoleptic testing methods.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety policies.
• Strong organizational skills with high initiative and flexibility.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
