Feeding San Diego operates an innovative and forward-thinking decentralized food rescue program that has been providing free nutritious meals for people facing hunger throughout San Diego County for 15 years. Food donors such as local grocery stores, retailers, wholesale distributors, farmers, and restaurants help make this possible. Our team is seeking an enthusiastic individual to be one of our Food Rescue Coordinators who will assist in the day-to-day management of these important contributors. The coordinator will foster new and existing donor relationships by providing exceptional customer service, including timely communication, donor onboarding, training in proper food rescue practices, pickup coordination, data collection, and reporting. Our Food Rescue Coordinators are friendly, highly organized, effective communicators, and proactive problem solvers. They enjoy building good relationships with customers and have a passion for helping others.
