Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities
Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are complete and presented beautifully.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring quality standards are met.
Skills
Experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous banquet or hotel experience is advantageous but not required.
Culinary experience or knowledge of cooking techniques is beneficial.
