We are seeking a Food Runner / Busser to join the team at our busy restaurant! As a Food Runner / Busser, you are the link between the kitchen and the wait staff. You will set and clear tables, deliver food, and generally act as the liaison between the front of house and back of the house. Responsibilities
Serve customers their meals and drinks in an efficient and professional manner.
Communicate food orders and guest needs effectively to the kitchen and service staff.
Refill drinks, chips, and water for guests as needed.
Wipe down, clean, and sanitize tables, chairs, booths, and other surfaces.
Remove used tableware and reset tables according to restaurant standards.
Remove dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from dining tables to the dishwashing area.
Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation rules and regulations.
Qualifications
Experience as a busser, barback, food runner, or similar position is preferred.
Familiarity with food safety guidelines (California Food Handler Card required within 30 days of hire).
Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods and safely lift up to 30–40 pounds.
Friendly, outgoing personality with strong teamwork skills.
Availability to work flexible shifts, including evening and weekend shifts.
