Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner.
- Verify that each order is complete and accurate before serving.
- Communicate with kitchen staff and servers regarding order status.
- Describe dishes and answer basic menu questions when serving food.
- Assist servers with guest requests as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations.
- Refill water, condiments, and supplies when necessary.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Help clear tables and reset dining areas when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to carry trays and lift moderate weights.
- Positive attitude and customer-service orientation.
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but often not required.
Working Conditions:
- Standing and walking for most of the shift.
- Working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Exposure to busy kitchen and dining room environments.
