Henderson Sport & Social is a state-of-the-art, 180,000-square-foot destination opening in Henderson, Nevada. The facility is designed to become a premier destination for youth and adult sports, recreation, fitness, dining, and family entertainment while serving as a gathering place for the local community.

Our facility features basketball, volleyball and pickleball courts, indoor turf fields, bowling, a dual-level laser tag arena, Krazy Darts, miniature golf, arcade games, a full-service restaurant and bar, fitness center, Child Watch, and flexible event spaces capable of hosting birthday parties, tournaments, corporate outings, and community celebrations.

Position Summary

Food Runners ensure every meal is delivered quickly, accurately, and beautifully presented while creating a seamless connection between the kitchen, dining room, attractions, and event spaces.

This position serves as the final quality check before food reaches the guest, protecting the integrity of every meal while anticipating guest needs, supporting restaurant and facility operations through cross-training, and delivering exceptional hospitality throughout Henderson Sport & Social.

• Protect the integrity of every plate by serving food accurately, promptly, and with exceptional attention to quality and presentation.
• Deliver food and beverages quickly without sacrificing presentation or hospitality.
• Anticipate guest needs and ensure guests have everything needed before leaving the table or service area.
• Support food and beverage operations throughout Henderson Sport & Social by delivering exceptional service wherever guests are enjoying food and beverages.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen, servers, hosts, bussers, Guest Services, and leadership.
• Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and Henderson Sport & Social's Core True Service philosophy.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Verify every plate for accuracy, presentation, allergies, garnishes, sauces, temperature, and overall quality before leaving the kitchen.
• Serve as the final line of defense by identifying and correcting food quality concerns before meals reach the guest.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately throughout the restaurant, patio, bowling lanes, Krazy Darts bays, attractions, event spaces, and other guest service areas while maintaining exceptional presentation and hospitality.
• Identify each menu item as it is served, confirm the correct guest receives each order, and confidently answer basic menu questions.
• Remain attentive after delivery to ensure guests have everything needed, including condiments, refills, utensils, or additional requests.
• Communicate guest requests, allergies, and corrections promptly with the kitchen and service team.
• Cross-train as a Host, Busser, and in Guest Services to support restaurant and facility operations while providing food and beverage service throughout Henderson Sport & Social.
• Assist with stocking the expo line, running ice, maintaining to-go supplies, bussing tables, transporting dishes, and completing assigned side work.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas throughout each shift.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, restocking, and additional operational duties as assigned.
• Remain productive during slower business periods by proactively supporting restaurant and facility operations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events based on business needs.
• Ability to learn the full food and beverage menu and confidently answer guest questions.
• Ability to work efficiently throughout a large, multi-attraction facility while maintaining a positive, guest-focused attitude.
• Positive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and transport trays, dishes, beverages, and supplies throughout a large facility.
• Maintain a professional appearance while working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
