Job Summary
The Food Runner helps create a fast, fun, and smooth dining experience by delivering food to guests, supporting the team, and keeping the restaurant clean and organized. Perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and teamwork.
Essential Job Functions
- Prepare dining areas before guests are seated.
- Place condiments on tables, napkins holders.
- Maintains areas clean and orderly as instructed.
- Aids in expediting food from the kitchen.
- Clean and wipe tables after guests leave.
- Remove dirty plates and utensils, as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- Available to work in the morning or afternoon Monday through Friday and weekends.
- Must be comfortable talking to people.
- Able to work well with others as a team.
- Strong sense of hygiene and cleanliness
- Available to work afternoons and weekends.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable moving around the store to assist with tasks as needed.
- Proficient in handling transactions and counting cash accurately.
- Clear vision and hearing to ensure transactions are accurate and customers are heard in a busy atmosphere.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds when needed.
- Handle fresh ingredients without issues.
- Comfortable working in various temperatures.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Follow safety rules and ask for help.
