Tin Roost is hiring Food Runners to join our team in North Liberty, Iowa!

Tin Roost is a locally owned restaurant featuring a scratch kitchen, spacious patio, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Our Food Runners play an important role in keeping service moving smoothly between the kitchen, service team, and our guests.
Fully trained Food Runners start at $8.10 per hour plus tips. Tip payouts are distributed the following morning.

What You'll Do
As a Food Runner, you'll help keep the restaurant organized, clean, and running efficiently throughout each shift. Responsibilities may include:
- Running food to guests quickly and accurately while maintaining presentation standards
- Coordinating with kitchen and service team members to ensure orders are delivered correctly and on time
- Clearing, resetting, and maintaining tables
- Assisting teammates throughout the restaurant as needed
- Maintaining cleanliness in guest areas, including restrooms when necessary
- Welcoming and assisting guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Supporting the host stand by greeting and seating guests and providing menus
- Helping manage the waitlist and communicating accurate wait times
- Assisting with seating organization and overall guest flow
- Answering phones and assisting with reservations and to-go orders as needed
- Completing assigned opening and closing responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and completing physical tasks throughout a shift
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Previous customer service experience is helpful but not required
- Basic food safety knowledge is a plus
