Requirements

The Food Runner plays an important role in creating an exceptional guest experience by ensuring food is delivered accurately, efficiently, and with great hospitality. This position serves as the connection between the kitchen and dining room, helping ensure guests receive their meals promptly and according to our high quality standards.

What You'll Do:

Deliver Outstanding Guest Experiences

• Deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
• Ensure orders are accurate before delivering them to the table.
• Engage with guests positively while representing the Tacos & Tequila Cantina brand.
• Help create memorable dining experiences through attentive service and hospitality.

Support Efficient Restaurant Operations

• Maintain constant communication with kitchen staff to ensure prompt and accurate food delivery.
• Learn and utilize table numbers to efficiently navigate the dining room.
• Assist servers and other team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
• Support overall restaurant operations by helping maintain flow between the kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Maintain Quality & Safety Standards

• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Ensure food is delivered according to brand specifications and presentation standards.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and organized restaurant environment.
• Handle food with care to preserve quality, temperature, and appearance.

Be a Brand Ambassador

• Represent Tacos & Tequila Cantina with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity.
• Follow all restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Demonstrate our T.A.C.O. core values in every interaction.
• Remain open to coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement.

Work as One Team

• Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, and management.
• Arrive on time and prepared for every shift.
• Support teammates in delivering Over-the-Top Service to every guest.
• Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
