Overview

We are seeking a Food Safety Specialist to join our team at our facility in Los Angeles, CA, 90024. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our food products meet all safety and quality standards to protect the health of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement food safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any potential safety hazards
• Train staff on proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Monitor and document temperature and sanitation logs
• Investigate and resolve any food safety issues that arise
• Stay up-to-date on food safety regulations and industry best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in food safety or quality assurance
• Knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and training abilities
• Certification in food safety (e.g. ServSafe) preferred
