Job Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented Food Safety Technician to support hospital dietary and nutrition services in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include assisting with patient meal coordination, dietary operations, food safety compliance, documentation, and nutrition support within a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support hospital dietary and nutrition operations
- Coordinate patient meal plans and dietary modifications
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
- Maintain accurate dietary records and data entry
- Utilize Microsoft Office and electronic feeding management systems
- Collaborate with clinical and dietary teams to support patient care
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and Associate’s Degree required
- Food Safety Certification required
- 2+ years of hospital nutrition/food service experience preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, math, and organizational skills
- Experience with hospital dietary systems preferred
