Shift- Part Time Retail Position 4 hour shifts on Tuesday and Thursday 1 position for AM shift 6:30am-10:30am 1 position for PM Shift 4:30pm-8:30pm.
Payrate: $20 - $24/hr
Job Description
The Food Server II supports Food & Nutrition Services by preparing, serving, transporting, and handling food while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and customer service. This role performs duties in dishwashing, tray line, retail, production, catering, cashiering, and general kitchen operations. The position follows departmental procedures, minimizes waste, maintains equipment cleanliness, and may require travel between organizational locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, portion, serve, and transport food according to recipes and quality standards.
- Perform dishwashing, tray line, catering support, cashiering, and general kitchen cleaning.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, infection control, and equipment cleanliness.
- Handle cash transactions accurately when assigned.
- Assist with stocking, storing supplies, waste disposal, and maintaining organized work areas.
- Deliver excellent customer service while following departmental policies and quality standards.
- Complete assigned quality control and safety documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, speak, and follow instructions in English.
- Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Previous food service or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic math skills preferred.
- ServSafe Certification preferred
