This position is 36 hours per week. M-F located at our Lebanon center. Kidco is a qualifying employer for Student Loan Forgiveness programs Opportunity for professional growth and advancement Wage: $18.01/hr 36 hours per week Position Purpose: Preparation, production, delivery and service of meals in accordance with established standards of nutrition, health and sanitation. Will provide daily transport of meals to assigned centers.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Dishwashing and Clean up Wash breakfast, lunch and snack dishes using approved sanitation methods. Return all items to proper storage site. Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen facilities, cookware, carts and carriers, dishes and eating utensils on a daily basis. Maintain safe and sanitary storage of food. Maintain orderly storage and kitchen environment. Following established procedures and PPE (if applicable), perform periodic cleaning tasks as assigned for proper maintenance and cleaning of kitchen equipment. Other center cleaning duties as assigned by supervisor.
Food Service and Preparation Assist with food preparation as directed by Food Service Manager. Ensure safe and timely delivery of meals. Assist with meal set up as needed. Adhere to sanitation and safety procedures. Implement special diets Assist with meal set up and clean up. Eat with children in the classroom Provide feedback to Food Service Manager on food quality, food quantity, and student/teacher acceptance.
Meal Delivery and Transportation Comply with all program transportation policies and procedures. Assist with loading and unloading of prepared foods to and from food service van utilizing proper lifting and ergonomic techniques. Maintain clean van and up to date transportation documentation. Transport carriers and pans back to kitchen. Ensure safe and timely delivery of meals Assist with meal set up and clean up Comply with all program transportation policies and procedures. Assist with unloading of prepared foods from food service van. Adhere to sanitation and safety procedures. Eat with children in the classroom.
Additional Job Responsibilities Attend and participate in program meetings as requested by supervisor Complete all areas of responsibility in compliance with program code of conduct and confidentiality policies. Be a contributory team member in a positive/productive manner. Demonstrate commitment to mission, values and policies in the performance of daily duties . Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
