Stones River Manor, founded in 1977, is Rutherford County’s only faith-based, nonprofit senior living community and 2024 Ruthie’s Community Choice Awards Winner. As a full service, continuing care campus, the goal of the Manor is to provide a comfortable, happy, secure environment for our residents. Full Time Position:
5:30a-2p*
Some weekdays, every other weekend
Part Time Position:
2p-6:30p*
3-4 days per week, some weekdays, every other weekend
*This role requires a significant amount of walking
SUMMARY:
Prepares and delivers food to residents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Other duties may be assigned.
Reads menu cards items to place on tray or serve at resident's tables.
Places items such as eating utensils, napkins, and condiments on tables or trays.
Prepares food items such as sandwiches, salads, soups, and beverages.
Apportions and places food servings on plates and trays according to choices on menu card.
Examines filled tray for completeness and places on cart or table.
Pushes carts, with dishes, supplies, and food, to halls or toward kitchen.
Serves food to resident’s tables.
Collects and stacks dirty dishes on cart and returns cart to kitchen.
Cleans dining room tables and chairs. Restocks condiments.
Washes dishes and cleans work area, tables, cabinets, and ovens.
Collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers.
Records amount and types of special food items served to residents.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
