Full Time Position:

5:30a-2p*

Some weekdays, every other weekend

Part Time Position:

5:30a-2p*

Some weekdays, every other weekend

2p-6:30p*

Some weekdays, every other weekend

• This role requires a significant amount of walking

SUMMARY:

Prepares and delivers food to residents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Other duties may be assigned.

• Reads menu cards items to place on tray or serve at resident's tables.
• Places items such as eating utensils, napkins, and condiments on tables or trays.
• Prepares food items such as sandwiches, salads, soups, and beverages.
• Apportions and places food servings on plates and trays according to choices on menu card.
• Examines filled tray for completeness and places on cart or table.
• Pushes carts, with dishes, supplies, and food, to halls or toward kitchen.
• Serves food to resident's tables.
• Collects and stacks dirty dishes on cart and returns cart to kitchen.
• Cleans dining room tables and chairs. Restocks condiments.
• Washes dishes and cleans work area, tables, cabinets, and ovens.
• Collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers.
• Records amount and types of special food items served to residents.

• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.
• EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
