The District reserves the right to close the recruitment regardless of the date or length of the posting period Start date: 9/1/26 Work Schedule: 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm (Subject to change by District) DEFINITION Under the supervision of the Food Service Director or Designee, to perform advance level classification in the Food Service Assistant series; performs skilled, manual and complex level of food service functions and activities in production, preparing, cooking, baking, and serving, large quantities and varieties of foods; maintains Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) program, maintains food services facilities and equipment in a safe, clean, orderly and sanitary manner; scratch cooking, or pre-packaged and serving of food; adheres to recipes, regulations, and standards. Performs other related work as necessary or required.

Required Experience: Quantity food preparation and service (preferred); Scratch cooking in a commercial, institutional or school setting (preferred). Educational Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; New hires must possess and maintain current valid Safety and Sanitation license within four (4) months; Maintain current valid Safety and Sanitation Certificate

Testing will be held on the following dates and times: 8/6/26 @ 9:00 am; 8/6/26 @ 9:00 am; 8/12/26 @ 9:00 am; 8/12/26 @ 2:00 pm; 8/14/26 @ 9:00 am; and 8/17/26 @ 2:00 pm. The written test will be held at the Magnolia School District Office (2705 W. Orange Ave., Anaheim, CA 92804).
