Title: Food Service Associate
Pay: $21.30/hour
Hours: Part-Time (20–34 hours/week) | Shifts scheduled between 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Overview
Join the IKEA Food team and help create a welcoming dining experience for customers. In this role, you'll prepare and serve food, maintain food safety standards, and provide friendly customer service in the restaurant and bistro while supporting a clean and efficient operation.
Job Description
Prepare and serve hot and cold food items according to IKEA quality standards.
Provide friendly and efficient customer service in the restaurant, bistro, and other food service areas.
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures while maintaining a clean work environment.
Assist customers with menu questions, allergies, and dietary restrictions.
Restock food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
Help minimize food waste by following IKEA sustainability practices.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Follow all IKEA safety, food handling, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
At least 1 year of food service or restaurant experience preferred.
Food Handler Certification or the ability to obtain one.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate lifting.
Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
