Job Description
Prepare and serve food according to IKEA recipes, standards, and food safety guidelines
Provide excellent customer service and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and allergens
Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, beverage stations, tables, seating areas, and tray return stations
Wash and maintain dishes, cookware, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment
Stock, replenish, and rotate inventory using FIFO procedures
Assist with merchandising and replenishment in the Swedish Food Market
Monitor food quality, freshness, and expiration dates
Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
Support inventory, receiving, and other food service operations as needed
Required Skills
Customer service experience preferred
Food service, restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Basic cash handling and point-of-sale experience preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
Food Handler Certification/Card required within 30 days of employment (if required by local regulations)
