Overview:

Shift: Monday-Friday, 4:00PM-7:00PM (2 days a week) + rotating weekends 6:00AM-2:30PM

 

Join our dedicated Food and Nutrition Services team! We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to play a vital role in our patient care experience. In this position, you will do much more than deliver meals; you will serve as a key liaison between our kitchen and patient care units, directly contributing to the health, recovery, and comfort of our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and deliver patient meal trays, including regular and modified diets.
  • Follow color-coded menus and diet guidelines to ensure safe, accurate meals.
  • Work as part of a team on the tray line to keep meal service running smoothly.
  • Prepare and deliver nourishments and tube feedings according to standard procedures.
  • Assemble and deliver late trays as needed.
  • Stock, organize, and restock food and supplies throughout meal service.
  • Assist with dish room duties, sanitation, and general kitchen support.
  • Help in other areas of the department as needed (cafeteria, salads, pots & pans).
  • Communicate food service concerns with kitchen leads, dietitians, and management.
Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Previous food service experience preferred
  • Ability to understand oral and written instructions
  • Must speak, read, and understand English

Certification:

  • Must obtain Food Handler Certificate within 60 days of hire.
