Food Service Associate (Part-Time)
Pay: $18/hr, paid weekly
Schedule: Saturday–Wednesday | 12:30 PM–8:30 PM (20–34 hours/week)
Location: Miami, FL 33172
Assignment Length: 3+ Month Contract
Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dependable Food Service Associate to join a busy retail food service team. In this role, you will prepare and serve hot and cold food items, provide excellent customer service, and maintain high food safety and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present hot and cold food items according to company standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service in the restaurant and bistro.
- Assist customers with food allergies and dietary restrictions by offering appropriate menu options.
- Follow all local food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
- Minimize food waste while supporting company sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform additional food service duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of food service experience preferred.
- Food Handler Certificate required or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
