    Job Description

    Food Service Attendant at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is Part-time and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts.

    Works as a multi-skilled food service worker under the close supervision of the Operations Supervisor; assignments may include but are not limited to cafeteria stocking, serving, cashiering and salad bar preparation and/or food production of patient, cafeteria, catering or special event foods. Assists on the grill and with catering as assigned. All assignments require safe food handling techniques, teamwork, and adherence to department policies. Excellent customer service skills are required for assignments with direct customer contact.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 3 months Food Service experience or cashiering.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Coursework/Training: Vocational Training in Food Service.
    • Experience in hospital food service.

    Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate''s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
