Employment Opportunity: Shrewsbury Public Schools POSITION: Food Service Cook Immediate Need

The Shrewsbury Public Schools Food Service department is currently accepting applications for Cooks to work in the school cafeterias.

The pay rate for this position is $20.85-$23.56 per hour, based on experience. This position reports to the School Manager and the Food Service Director.

Duties include:

• Food preparation and production
• Proper equipment operation
• Setup and breakdown of cafeteria
• Serving
• Catering
• Cleaning
• Stocking
• Receiving and putting away deliveries
• Attend required trainings
• Fulfill Unit HACCP requirements
• Serve Safe Certified within 1 year of hire date - must remain certified while employed by department
• Follow policies & procedures
• Assume School Manager position in their absence
• Perform other duties as assigned by School Manager or Director
