Part Time - Dietary Aide

What you'll do:
- Prepare hot and cold meals and beverages according to menus, recipes, and dietary needs
- Review tray cards for allergies, preferences, and special instructions
- Assemble meal trays with correct dishware and adaptive equipment
- Serve meals and assist with delivery to residents
- Prepare and stock snack carts
- Clean dishes, utensils, and food prep areas after use
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures
- Maintain infection control and safety standards
- Communicate respectfully with residents, staff, and visitors
- Attend trainings/meetings and support additional assigned tasks

What we're looking for:
- High school diploma, equivalent, or enrollment in current high school courses
- Experience working in the kitchen of institutions that provide meals to large groups on a daily basis
- Experience cooking in a Skilled Nursing Facility a plus
- Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
- Exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases
- Full range of body motion including handling and lifting objects
- Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met
- Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility
