Description
Food Service Director
Pay range: $48,000-53,000 DOE
We're seeking a hands-on Food Service Director for one of our clients. If you're a strong leader who enjoys developing teams, managing operations, and making a positive impact, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily food service operations and meal service
- Train, coach, and develop a high-performing team
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP, USDA, OSHA)
- Manage inventory, purchasing, labor, and food costs
- Build positive relationships with school staff and administration
- Drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of food service supervisory experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ServSafe Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and reporting
