Description
Food Service Director
Pay range: $48,000-53,000 DOE
We're seeking a hands-on Food Service Director for one of our clients. If you're a strong leader who enjoys developing teams, managing operations, and making a positive impact, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily food service operations and meal service
Train, coach, and develop a high-performing team
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP, USDA, OSHA)
Manage inventory, purchasing, labor, and food costs
Build positive relationships with school staff and administration
Drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
3+ years of food service supervisory experience
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
ServSafe Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
Proficiency with basic computer systems and reporting
