Pay: $21.30/hour
Hours: Saturday & Sunday | 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM (20–34 hours/week)

Overview
Join the IKEA Food team as a Food Service Associate with a primary focus on the dish room. In this role, you'll help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, and supporting food service operations. You'll also assist with food preparation and customer service as needed while following food safety and sanitation standards.
Job Description
Perform dish room duties, including washing and sanitizing dishes, cookware, utensils, and trays.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dishwashing area.
Prepare and present hot and cold food items according to IKEA standards.
Provide friendly customer service in the restaurant and bistro when needed.
Assist customers with questions regarding menu items, allergies, and dietary restrictions.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Minimize food waste in support of IKEA sustainability initiatives.
Support the team with additional food service tasks as assigned.
Required Skills
Previous food service experience preferred (1 year or more).
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Food Handler Certification or the ability to obtain one.
Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
