Job Summary Provide maintenance of food service equipment. Including but not limited to performing routine and preventative maintenance and ensuring safety and code compliance.

Minimum Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED. 1 year of relevant experience. Valid Texas drivers license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Education and Experience Other Qualifications To the extent this position requires the holder to research work on or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.0012 of the Texas Business and Commerce Code the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Skilled assistant will support Building Services Supervisor and Director of Dining & Retail Services in diagnosing and supporting university kitchen equipment. Also responsible for light preventative maintenance light plumbing and electrical and assist with quality control. This role requires teamwork and commitment to food and equipment safety standards. Some evening or weekend availability may be required. Other duties as assigned.
