Overview
We are seeking a Food Service Host/Hostess to provide routine dietary services to patient care areas while maintaining high-quality standards. This role serves and stores food according to menu and dietary procedures, ensures proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas, and delivers safe, nutritious meals to patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients with meals, explaining diets, delivering trays, and responding to requests
- Ensure patient and workplace safety, follow infection control and food safety standards, and maintain cleanliness of kitchens and pantries
- Communicate with nursing staff regarding patient care needs and verify tray accuracy and completeness
- Order, stock, and rotate food and supplies, maintain refrigeration logs, and manage inventory according to established par levels
- Support training, follow service standards (AIDET), and perform other unit-specific duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent or currently enrolled in High School required.
Experience:
