Food Service Manager

Westminster is a premier retirement community with dedicated and skilled staff, dynamic leadership, innovative services and first class facilities. We are hiring a Food Service Manager to oversee dining services for Skilled Nursing, Rehab, Assisted Living and Memory Support.

Who You Are:

The Food Services Manageris responsible for maintaining and ensuring therapeutic accuracy and serves as a communication liaison between Health Center residents and the Food and Beverage department.  Responsible for the overall operation, coordination, appearance, and maintenance of the dining rooms and wait stations and ensures that courteous and efficient services are delivered. 

This position is a Full-time, salaried position. 

Regular schedule is Sunday - Thursday, 11:00am - 7:30pm, but must be flexible to adjust regular scheduled hours as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees daily scheduling for the department, as well as timesheets and timely completion of 90-day and annual evaluations for Dietary Aides.
• Supervises the physical appearance and sanitation practices for all HCC, AL & MC dining rooms, kitchen areas and wait stations.
• Maintains pertinent and necessary records, reports, schedules, etc. as required by regulation.
• Ensures all associates are adhering to safe work practices.
• Orients and trains dietary associates in all aspects of their positions.
• Responsible for coaching and counseling associates as needed.
• Maintains and inspects cleanliness of all HCC, AL, MC areas.
• Assists Director of Food & Beverage and F&B Nutrition Manager with a variety of other duties, including health inspections, yearly state survey and life safety practices.
