AIP is looking for a Food Service Manager who is responsible for day-to-day food service operation at our facility in Miami, FL. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!


Responsibilities


+ Manages the food services operation.

+ Confers with supervisory personnel in formulating administrative and operational policies and procedures.

+ Manages and coordinates, through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities of operations department to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities, and personnel.

+ Reviews and analyzes expenditure, financial, and operations reports to determine requirements for food services.

+ Prepares recommendations on findings for management evaluation.

+ Enforces compliance of operations personnel with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations.

+ May negotiate contracts with equipment and materials suppliers.

+ Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.

+ Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.

+ Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.


Qualifications


+ Five (5) years of management experience in a food service environment.

+ Minimum High school diploma or GED, preferred Bachelors Education and/or culinary certificate.

+ Experience in institutional cooking in a correctional setting preferred.

+ Requires extensive knowledge of the practices and materials used in food service procedures. Must have successful work history of coordinating the demands of a food service operation, displaying a thorough knowledge of administrative techniques and personnel policies and procedures.

+ Demonstrated personnel interactions, communication skills, and problem-solving techniques.

+ Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

+ Must be US Citizen.

+ Must be 21 years old.
