Description
Which Wich has a position open for General Manager of the restaurant. The Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant. The manager is to lead and develop team memers to deliver outstanding product quality and customer service in a clean, friendly environment, while building store sales and controlling costs.
Responsible for overall appearance and cleanliness of location, developing procedures for cleaning of the dining area, food prep area and serving areas. Inspects supplies, equipment and work areas, keeping all clean and to company expectations.
Maximizes sales by following direction given by District Manager of Food Service and implements merchandising/marketing programs, providing information (feedback) and recapping performance of promotional activities.
Provides guidance and direction to Food Service Specialists daily.
Manages controllable costs including but not limited to food cost, waste, labor, cash, shrink and expenses. Meets or exceeds budgeted goals in these areas to optimize profit for the company.
Completes an inventory count within time frame requirements.
Create a customer friendly atmosphere.
Ensure food in storage meets all state requirements and procedures are followed in preparation and storage. Ensure that employees comply with health and food safety standards.
Complies with all food safety behaviors and requirements. Maintains 90 or above grade from Health Department and/or government agencies.
Maintain required records for certification, food spoilage, and procedures.
Maintains knowledge of all product offerings, promotions and advertising campaigns.
Trains personnel on all policies, procedures, duties and expectations.
Conduct annual performance reviews for all food service employees in a positive manner, identifying strengths and opportunities. Creates individual goals for the following year.
Responsible for staffing, including assistance in recruiting, selection and orientation processes, assists with employee development and training programs. Discusses, communicates and collaborates all managerial candidates with the Director of Convenience and/or District Manager before hiring or promotion offer is presented.
Secures and protects all company assets (inventory, property, cash, etc.) by adhering to responsibilities, job description, safety regulations, etc.
Counts and records operational funds (register, safe, etc.) daily.
